Bostadsbolaget has approximately 25,000 rental apartments distributed across all districts of Gothenburg. This makes us one of Gothenburg's largest landlords and an important part of community and urban development.

We are about 400 people working at Bostadsbolaget. Most work in our residential areas close to our tenants, while others work centrally in one of our support functions. We have more than 20 different professions represented, but regardless of job role, we all work towards the same goal - to create good and safe living environments together with around 50,000 tenants and our other partners.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Do you want to create Gothenburg's best outdoor environments? Are you a passionate environmental manager who wants to contribute to making our residential areas both more beautiful and more pleasant? We at Bostadsbolaget are now looking for a new colleague who wants to help create fantastic outdoor environments for our tenants in Länsmansgården, in a team with two environmental managers and a property caretaker. The outdoor environment is an important part of our tenants' living environment, and something we at Bostadsbolaget can proudly say we are really good at. Our annual customer survey shows that we have the highest customer ratings for outdoor environments among the large housing companies in Sweden. This is thanks to our knowledgeable and dedicated environmental managers.

As an environmental manager with us, you will be responsible for all work related to the external environment in our residential areas. This includes everything from ongoing gardening work and keeping our residential areas clean, beautiful, and pleasant to more long-term planning of the outdoor environment and establishing maintenance plans. In addition to knowledge of trees and plantings, you are expected to have competence in areas such as general maintenance, repair of paving, and safety requirements for playgrounds. During the winter months, you will be responsible for snow and ice removal.

As an environmental manager in Länsmansgården, you will be part of one of our outdoor environment units, where you collaborate and exchange experiences with your environmental manager colleagues in other areas. You will also work closely with other colleagues such as property managers, property caretakers, and cleaners.

QUALIFICATIONS

You are an engaged person who takes great personal responsibility in your role. You are good at planning and prioritizing your work. As an environmental manager, it is required that you are social and service-oriented since you have a lot of contact with tenants and work closely with colleagues.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Gardening education from, for example, high school or vocational college.
• Documented experience in gardening on a larger scale.
• B driver's license
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

In addition, it is advantageous if you have good machinery knowledge and a two-year post-secondary education in gardening.
